Greetings from New Delhi, Really liked your restoration work. The tools are fantastic in the Hormon collection. I am restoring a very early musical pocket watch with a quarter repeater. In this watch which is engraved and mercury gold plated. The backplate is missing which had the repeating work. In this particular watch the repeating section is not under the dial as early swiss musical watches have. The repeating train is at the backplate. Would it be possible to communicate with you during the restoration.Otherwise never mind and sorry for the trouble. I am not a professional restorer but would like to get a professional advice then doing a bodged up job. This movement was completely rusted I am trying to give it a new life. Greetings all the best. Thank you! That sounds like a very interesting piece – please feel free to send some photos – I’d be happy to give you some advice, once I am back in my workshop in Seattle. Very best,
Brittany
Many thanks Brittany for the great shop pictures. I can envision working on something with all that tooling available…..just amazing!! Tom Podnar–

Hi Tom, You’re very welcome! I have spent hours imagining what it would be like to have this shop at my disposal to create whatever I wish…. possibilities are infinite.
