It’s Official! & Hermit Crabs have more options than they used to – Aug. 19. 2014

At long last, I am happy to say that I have just signed the lease on a new space. There’s lots to do before moving in – painting, lights, electrical, etc. but I am very much looking forward to it. Again, visits will be on an appointment only basis, but I will be set up to hold classes and toy automata workshops in the new location. More on this later.

The new space is in the Columbia City neighborhood of Seattle – another area on the rise, with breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, and more going in all the time! I’m looking forward to sharing photos of the space with you as work begins! But for now – cheers!

and this is a really interesting thing I came across today:

  1. Classes and workshops? That sounds fantastic!
Good luck setting up the new space! The nearby Lowes will probably come-in handy. 🙂

    1. Thank you! I am in the process of working with local educational programs for classes on horology and the toy workshop is something I have been considering for a long time. I think it will be a lot of fun for people. You’re right – I have already been to Lowes!! ha.ha.
